France's semi-final matchup with Morocco raises new injury concerns.

When France plays the Atlas Lions of Morocco on Wednesday for a spot in the World Cup final, two of their key players are likely to be injured.

Adrien Rabiot and Dayot Upamecano did not show up to training on Tuesday, less than 24 hours before their Morocco match.

Their absence is a major setback for Didier Deschamps, who is aiming to make history by leading France to become the first team since Brazil in 1962 to win the World Cup.

Upamecano, a center back, is said to have a sore throat, and Rabiot, a center midfielder, is said to be "under the weather."

Rabiot could be replaced by Eduard Camavinga or Yousef Fofana, and Upamecano could be taken over by Ibrahima Konate.

Morocco, which has only given up one goal, an own goal, will face France.

Morocco, on the other hand, wants to make history in Qatar by becoming the first African nation to reach the tournament's final.
