After the release of woske, do you think Olamide loves being a local champion?

For a very long time in the music industry in Nigeria, when we talk about the top 5 trending, hottest Nigerian artistes, Wizkid, Davido and Olamide, have always made the list.
It is crystal clear that these acts are the most consistent music stars within this time period with the biggest catalogs of hits in their repertoire, not to even talk about them having the largest fan base.
The average Nigeria music listeners have either of these three artistes: DavidoWizkid Or Olamide on their play list (if you are in doubt, check your play-list, Viola!!).
This tells you one thing, that Nigeria is a primary market for the three named artistes.
But Davido and Wizkid have clearly made more international penetrations than the YBNL boss, Olamide.
The duo have done more internationally at different levels and have proven they are closer than ever in gaining mainstream global recognition which is something that is looking almost impossible for Olamide
Could you remember that international music companies such as Sony and RCA took interest in Davido & Wizkid offering both Nigerian pop stars deals upon deals.
In recent times, music lovers have hailed Wizkid and Davido for selling out big concert grounds outside Nigeria and Africa as a continent.
Not to talk about the collaborations with international brands, get featured on international publications, graced international stages to perform before new audiences and have recorded songs with international artistes.
This can’t be said for the YBNL boss, has he has failed to any solid international exposure as expected by a lot of music lovers.
Could it be that Olamide’s style of music isn’t acceptable internationally or could it be that he’s satisfied with being a local champion?
